Joe Davis Ministries

~Music & Ministry to Glorify Jesus Christ~

Welcome! My name is Joe Davis and the purpose of both this site and this ministry is two-fold:

>Share the story of God’s grace and forgiveness to those that do not have a relationship with Him.

>Share the story of God’s redemption within the life of believers who need a “new beginning” with Him.

Whether singing, speaking, or writing, the greatest passion of my life is to share the love of Christ both with those who do not already know Him, and with those who need healing and restoration in their lives.

May 2017 Update

From 2-14-16 through 1-8-17 I had the privilege of assisting as interim choir director at my (old) home church of FBC Snellville. What a joy it was. Just a few weeks ago, I was given the opportunity to start helping with the Celebrate Recovery ministry at another church in the area ( Annistown Road Baptist, www.arbc.org) and now have the privilege of singing with their praise team and trying to help in other ways as needs arise. My wife Jane and I look forward to doing whatever we can to help there as serving our Lord and His kingdom work is a privilege, no matter the task.
The close of 1 Corinthians 9:16 says “Woe unto me if I preach not the gospel.” That is my heart. I love to proclaim God’s word whether it be spoken or sung. I am thanking God now for this door of opportunity He has opened.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you will be blessed by the messages contained in my debut CD, “Grace & Redemption”. I pray that God will use the words I’ve sung to inspire and encourage you in your walk with Him .  Through both the CD and when sharing in person, I hope to accomplish the following:

1.Exalt The Savior

"And if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me" John 12:32 - Simply put, I believe that a God-honoring ministry will magnify and glorify the name of Jesus Christ.

2. Share Christ with others

"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost" Luke 19:10 - Someone cared enough to share Christ with me, so how can I do anything less for others? Many just don’t know what they are missing out on in a relationship with Jesus, not only in eternity, but in this life as well.

3. Encourage the body

"But encourage one another daily, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness" Hebrews 3:13 - We are living in difficult times and our churches are under attack like never before. Believers need to be encouraged and to be reminded that HE is still on the throne. I also specifically want to reach out to those believers who may have fallen in their walk with God in the past. These vital members of the body of Christ need to know that God still has amazing plans for their lives and that is exactly what “Redemption” is all about!
